- (Lead): Male 35+. Man of spanish descent who takes great pride in his family and revels in all it means to be an "Addams". Struggles with having to keep his daughter's secret from his wife whom he adores more than death. Smart, comedic actor with tenor vocals.
- (Lead): Female 30+. Attractive, leggy, comedic actress with a sexy, dry wit. The strength of the family. Feels her husband is hiding something from her and will use any tactic to lure the secret out (of him), strong dancer/mover, with alto/mezzo soprano vocals
- (Lead): Female 17+. plays 25-30 years old. Attractive, with the same dry wit and sensibility of her mother. Finds love with a "normal" boy (Lucas) and wants to introduce his family to hers. Experiences the youthful drama that comes with first love. Strong pop, belt vocals.
- (Supporting): Male 18+. Androgynous family member who serves as the show's narrator. Larger than life. An energetic, joyous, child-like presence. Vaudeville style comedian with tenor vocals.
- (Supporting) Female 18+. A feisty 102 year old woman. Fun and quirky, but don't mess with Grandma. Comedic actress with strong character vocals.
- (Supporting): Male 18+. Plays 18-24 years old. Charming, funny, husky boy who loves playing with his sister in the play (torture) room. Wants to ensure he won't lose his sister to her new boyfriend, so he takes matters into his own hands. Strong, high vocals.
- (Supporting): Male 18+. The Addams' butler who knows all; only speaks in moans and groans without becoming a cartoon version of himself. Movement is always very slow and somewhat awkward. Preferably very tall with low bass vocals. Facility with mime a plus.
- (Supporting): Male 18+. Stuffy father of Lucas and exasperated husband to his rhyming wife, Alice. One time follower of The Grateful Dead, but has been "conventionalized". Male actor with baritone/tenor vocals.
- (Supporting): Female 18+. Mother of Lucas, devoted to her family so she puts aside her own desires. Quirky woman who often speaks in rhyme - we don't know why - while at the Addams Family dinner party. Only speaks the truth when "under the influence". Has a powerful solo. Comedic Actress with soprano/belt vocals.
- (Lead) Male 18+. Attractive, young man who plays a 25-30 year old. Fell in love with Wednesday and plans to marry her. Experiences the youghful pain and drama of young love and struggles with the differences between his family and the Addams. Contrmporary pop tenor vocals.
- (Chorus/Ensemble) Males and females 7+.An ensemble of singer/dancers who sing and have fun with a quirky sensibility - their dead, after all. Trained dancers with a knowledge of tango and flamenco a plus, but not a requirement.
