Story: Once a week, six recently bereaved strangers gather for group therapy. It’s a stable routine—until one day, their grief counselor is inexplicably MIA. The group’s typical session quickly goes off the rails, offering an open-ended meditation on loss, with revelations that are at once beautiful, funny and heartbreaking. someone spectacular examines the complicated emotions that accompany grief, while exploring universal and personal truths that are sure to stay with you for a lifetime.

Evelyn (female) - Someone - Age 51

Notes: Roles may be double cast. 3 out of 6 roles must be cast as BIPOC, we highly encourage and ask for BIPOC to audition.

Please bring a copy of your resume and a headshot or photo if you have one available. If you do not, any photo is fine, or we will take a photo there. Come prepared with a 1 minute monologue (comedic or dramatic, either is fine). If you do not have a monologue prepared we will just have you cold read from the script.

We will have Callbacks Sunday August 30th from 12 pm - 2 pm so be prepared to be called back if we decide to hear you read again. We may or may not call you back before finalizing casting.

Rehearsals:

Monday - Friday, 6 pm - 8 pm

September 1st - October 2nd

With mandatory rehearsals during tech week (September 28th - October 2nd)
