CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
Director's Note: Cast members (with the exception of the role of "Jane") will play multiple characters throughout the play. This is a musical that depends on a versatile and comedic ensemble that helps to tell the story of Jane's journey. Many of the characters are created in the style of sketch comedy and only appear in short scenes, but they are in every other way "real." While the playing out of some of the situations are quite broad, the experience of Jane is very, very (very) real and the satire needs to leave space for that truth and heart.
Except as noted, roles are open to actors of all identities – racial, ethnic, sexual, gender – and no roles assume the presence or absence of disability.
