2nd Annual GHOST TOURS Fundraiser

DESCRIPTION:

Ghost tours are back! Hear true theatre ghost stories while supporting the future of the theatre. Hear ghost stories inspired by true paranormal experiences either on one-hour tour of the theatre or as a night of storytelling in the Arena. Support the theatre by purchasing a spooky treat or beverage in the lobby and share a ghost story or two of your own!

PERFORMANCE DATES:

Friday, 10/17, 5p-12a
Saturday, 10/18, 2-11p
Sunday, 10/19, 1-7p

REHEARSALS:

This is a very short rehearsal period. Actors with scripted monologues will be expected to come to the first rehearsal off-book. Required Rehearsals will be held in the evenings of October 13-16.

AUDITION DATES:

September 14, 6:30-9:30p. Doors open at 6:00p.

AUDITION FORMAT:

Select sides from the script. If interested in ghost/elemental, prepare a 1-minute story told through sound, movement, props, or anything without recognizable human speech. Be creative! It doesn't need to be in the style of the show.

Please note that all roles in the GHOST TOURS Fundraiser are volunteer, so unpaid.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

Except as noted, roles are open to actors of all identities – racial, ethnic, sexual, gender – and no roles assume the presence or absence of disability.

2 Tour Guides – need to be able to improvise and interact with public

4 Storytellers – will perform memorized monologue and do some special effects

2-4 Ghosts/Elementals – will be part of special effects and scare moments, no speaking
