The Seagull

DESCRIPTION: 

Set in the Russian countryside, this play explores the complicated relationships in a group of artists as artistic passion, dreams of greatness, and languishing talent become tangled into their romantic affairs. This new adaptation captures all the humor and pathos of Chekhov’s classic play with a fresh tone for contemporary audiences.

PERFORMANCE DATES:

Runs weekends January 12 to February 4 with a Monday Pay-What-You-Can on January 22.

REHEARSALS:

Rehearsals begin on December 4, They will be scheduled 5-6 days a week. Weekdays 6-10pm; Saturdays, 1-5pm. Whenever possible Actors will be scheduled on an as needed basis.  

AUDITION DATES: 

November 6 & 7, 7-9pm. With callbacks as needed on November 8.

AUDITION FORMAT:

All auditions will be readings from the script.


Please note that, currently, all roles at Theatre in the Round are volunteer; however, all actors will be provided a new professional headshot, with rights to use digitally or print. We understand and respect that not everyone is able to committ to a show for no payment.
