Auditions For Broadway in Buffalo 2023!

Auditions: March 17th 5:30-7:30 p.m. BHS PAC

March 18th. 10 a.m. - 12 noon. BHS PAC

Auditionees should prepare the song from musical theater repertoire that they would like to perform in the show. Please be prepared to sing the entire song but it does not need to be memorized for the audition. Those cast will not be able to change their song at a later date.

The purpose of this production is two-fold:

To give talented individuals in the community the opportunity to perform one of their favorite selections from the Broadway theater repertoire.
To raise funds for scholarships for BHS music students and a theater arts college scholarship for BCT.

Each cast member will be featured in a solo selection (your audition piece) and may elect to participate in one or more ensemble selections. Those performing a solo selection only will have only a few rehearsals prior to the May 20th and 21st performance dates. Those participating in ensemble selections will have 10-11 rehearsals maximum.

Rehearsals will include the following dates although no one will need to be at all of these:

Sat., April 1 - 9:30am - 12 noon

Sun., April 2 - 12:30 - 3 p.m.

Mon. April 3 - 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Sat., April 8 - 9:30am - 12 noon

Sat., April 15 - 9:30am - 12 noon

Mon. April 17 - 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Tues., April 18 - 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Sat., April 22 - 9:30 - 12 noon

Thurs., May 11 - 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Sat., May 13 - 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon

Mon. May 15 - 7 - 9:30 p.m. Reh. w/Combo

Tues., May 16 - 7 - 9:30 p.m. Reh. w/Combo

Thurs., May 18 - 7 - 9:30 p.m.
