How to Talk Minnesotan, A Musical Audition Notice

How to Talk Minnesotan is back this January at the Plymouth Playhouse.

We are looking for two new cast members to fill out our classic cast.

Rus is Darlene’s boyfriend. He's man in his mid to upper 20s with a laid-back, easygoing personality. Actor should be able to play electric guitar.

Ed is married to Lucy. He is a former auto mechanic who has traded in his tools for the responsibilities of running the Lost Walleye Lodge. Practical, hardworking, and down-to-earth, he’s a man who knows how to fix just about anything. Actor should be able to play basic bass guitar.

All positions are paid. Actors must be able to rehearse during the daytime hours December, 7-30 (off on Christmas and Christmas Eve)

Audition Preparation

Please come prepared with a 16-bar song of your choice along with a monologue. Minnesotan Accent is a plus! You will also be asked to participate in a reading with Darlene and Lucy during the audition.
