Shrek the Musical Audition Notice

The Prior Lake Players are thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Shrek The Musical! We are looking for a vibrant, diverse cast of singers, actors, and dancers to bring Duloc and the Swamp to life.

Audition Dates & Times

Auditions will be held in 35-minute blocks on the following dates:

Monday, February 9: 6:00 PM – 8:20 PM
Tuesday, February 10: 6:00 PM – 8:20 PM
Wednesday, February 11: 6:00 PM – 8:20 PM

How to Sign Up

Actors must sign up for a specific time slot in advance. Please use our online registration form to secure your spot:

What to Prepare

Vocals: Please prepare 16–32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. No accompaniment will be provided. Please bring backing tracks if needed.
Acting: Prepare a 1 minute monologu
Movement: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. There will be a short movement/dance evaluation.
