Stop Being So Dramatic!

Are you tired of dying on stage? Exhausted by star-crossed lovers and tragic finales? Then we want YOU for our Comedy Tonight Cabaret!

We are looking for singers, duos, and groups to bring the house down with the funniest songs in musical theater, pop, and beyond. Whether it’s a witty Sondheim patter song or a ridiculous 80s novelty hit, if it makes us laugh, we want to hear it.

No heavy lifting, no tragic endings—just pure entertainment!

We are looking for a variety of acts to include singers, dancers, musicians, comedy acts, etc. Performers must be 16 and over.

Only 20 acts will be selected. If you would like to submit a virtual audition for the cabaret, please complete the audition form by April 30.

If your act consists of more than one person, complete one audition form and add the names of the other performers in the part of the form that asks for introduction details. Please include a short bio or introduction for each person performing in your group that will be used to introduce your act.
If your act is with more than one person, please submit a group picture if possible. If you do not have a group picture and you are selected to perform in the cabaret, we will reach out to get photos for the program.
Your video audition will need to be a video you have stored on a site like Google Drive or YouTube.
Only stand / handheld mics will be available for performers. Body mics will not be provided.
There are no rehearsals for this event, but performers will have an opportunity to review their piano music with the pianist, and check their backing tracks with the sound technician prior to the show. Please be prepared to arrive early the night of the performance. The cabaret is May 16 at 7:00 pm.

Auditioners invited to perform will be notified by May 3. Auditioners who are not selected will also be notified. We can only accept 20 acts for the cabaret. We encourage you to submit your audition early.
