ALL ROLES OPEN, Non-Union/Non-Paid: Seeking a multi-ethnic and generationally diverse cast of exceptionally strong actors, singers, and dancers for this production. All roles will use British accents. Silhouette Stages is committed to inclusivity in casting. All races, ethnicities, gender identities, body types, and mobilities are encouraged to audition. All roles are open to any ethnicity or gender expression unless noted in the character description. Actors should audition for any role(s) they feel comfortable playing.

Audition/Rehearsal Information

Auditions will be held November 11th and 12th. If there are no available time slots that work with your schedule, please email kinkyboots@silhouettestages.com and let us know.

Rehearsals will be Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings. Not all actors will be called to every rehearsal.

Auditions and rehearsals are at Slayton House Theater in Columbia, MD.

Audition Requirements

- Prepare 32 bars of a song, about 30-45 seconds, in the style of Kinky Boots that shows off your vocal and acting talents - you may sing a song from Kinky Boots.
- No acapella auditions. Please bring either (a) sheet music in your key, or (b) a recorded instrumental track. A piano accompanist and a Bluetooth speaker will both be available.
- Please arrive dressed and ready to learn a brief dance combination.

Production Information

Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair find that they may have more in common than they ever realized.
