Cinderella: A Phipps Ballet

General Audition Information 

Auditions will be held in person in the Dance Studio at the Phipps Center for the Arts located at 109 Locust St. Hudson, WI 54016. 

This audition is open to performers ages 10 and up.

Audition Details

Dancers must fill out the audition form here: Cinderella Audition Form

Teen/Adult auditions (ages 13 & up) will be held on Saturday, April 5, 12:30-4:30 PM.

  • Teen/Adult auditions will begin with a technique class followed by learning two pieces of choreography. Dancers who are strong on pointe are encouraged to stay and learn an additional piece.
  • Female-presenting dancers should wear a leotard and tights and bring ballet slippers, character shoes, and pointe shoes if they have them. Male-presenting dancers should come in tight-fitting athletic wear and bring ballet slippers.
  • Everyone should bring a water bottle.
  • Dancers should plan to be there for 3-4 hours.
  • Callbacks for teens/adults will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2:30-4:30 PM. 

Children's auditions (ages 10-13) will be held on Sunday, April 6, 12:30-2:30 PM.

  • Children's auditions will begin with a technique class followed by learning one piece of choreography.
  • Female-presenting dancers should wear a leotard and tights and bring ballet slippers. Male-presenting dancers should come in tight-fitting athletic wear and bring ballet slippers.
  • Everyone should bring a water bottle. 
  • Dancers should plan to be there for about 2 hours.

Scheduling Information 

Rehearsals Begin: Monday, May 19, 2025

Rehearsals will be held Mondays and Tuesdays 4:15-7:15 PM and Wednesdays 3:00-7:00 PM. 

Tech Week Begins: Saturday, July 19, 2025

Performances: July 25, 2025 - August 3, 2025

Fridays 7:00 PM, Saturdays & Sundays 2:00 PM

COVID Policy 

Masks are optional during auditions and rehearsals. Tech rehearsals and performances will be unmasked. 

Proof of vaccination is no longer required.
