About the Show

Get ready for a wacky, wonderful adventure at Wayside School – where the floors are stacked thirty stories high, the teachers are anything but ordinary, and absolutely anything can happen!

This play is an adaptation of the fun and absurd children’s book by Louis Sachar! The world of this play is entirely how an imaginative elementary school student would see their life at school. It is sometimes magical, weird, and fun. Other times, school feels like a nightmare. But, overall, it is a funny, whimsical ride! Some of our inspirations for this production include The Magic School Bus, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Matilda, and the work of Dr. Seuss!
