- A Yale man. Sports enthusiast who’ll drink a toast to and place a wager on anything. 40s - 50s
- Mysterious, demanding, and intimidating. A bully. Could be played by a Man or a Woman. 50's
- The “old pro” of the force — a real detective. He really doesn’t know why he personally hasn’t killed Hunsacker yet. He likes Grouse and recognizes his abilities. In his 40s.
- Harry’s hired “Dr. Watson.” Fortunately for Harry, Nigel is intelligent and a pretty good detective. A recovered alcoholic and former actor. Nigel’s attitude towards Harry is that of an older, protective brother. He is never condescending to Harry and always tries to gently guide Harry to the solution. In his 40s.
- A would-be actor turned would-be detective. Harry is, in many respects, child-like [not childish] and still has wonder and surprise at the world. He is not stupid. He is not an idiot. He is, however, very self-focused. He relates with the world as it relates to him. In his 40s.
