It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

Thank you for your interest in our production of It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.  Please be sure to read this entire introduction prior to reserving your audition.

Auditions for It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play are open to all performers ages 8 - 20 and will be held at the Community Arts Center on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6 from 6-8:30 pm.  Auditioners must reserve an audition time in advance: walk-in auditions will not be accepted. Please note: a face covering must be worn at all times while inside the CAC, including during your actual audition.  If necessary, callbacks will be held in the evening on Wednesday, October 7 - exact times are TBA.

Actors should prepare a 1-minute monologue (comedic or dramatic are both acceptable).  Some actors may be asked to do a cold reading from the script at the time of their audition - no preparation is necessary, and this request may not apply to all auditioners.

It is our intention to double-cast this production in order to maintain appropriate social distancing for rehearsals and performances.  Cast members will be assigned to the HOLLY cast or the JOLLY cast.  Please visit bigdealproductions.org to review a detailed rehearsal / performance calendar for the two separate casts.  In order to participate in this production, cast members must commit to missing no more than 2 full rehearsals (or 3 partial absences).  Attendance at all tech week rehearsals and performances is mandatory for participants.  If cast in the show, there is a participation fee of $210, which includes top-notch theatre instruction, a digital script, and a show t-shirt.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lindsay at lindsay@bgparks.org.  Thank you.

**Please note:  Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 this program has been designed to run in-person, as well as virtually should in-person programs be suspended.  No refunds will be issued if the format changes from in-person to virtual.
